Projects: Teetering on the brink

Teetering on the brink is an exciting subject for artists. It gives the opportunity to bring to light transitional states and document them, as well as the subsequent opportunity to analyze what the border is, to stop the time, preventing something from disappearing or emerging. Being on the brink means simultaneously destroying some of the borders and bringing to light the new ones. The students’ works present a dialogue between technique, technology, the nature of depiction, the borders of perception, and the auteur view. Various techniques are represented at the exhibition: printing a negative, printing a video, cyanotype, printing on alternative materials.
