Solo exhibition by Anton Andrienko, 2nd-year student at Rodchenko School, Valery Nistratov’s Documentary Photography Studio.
Pattern (template, benchmark) generally means an image schema that serves as an interim representation or sensual notion that helps uncover regularities as they exist in nature and society.
In psychology, pattern means a collection of stereotypical behavioural responses or series of actions, as well as consolidation of sensor stimuli as belonging to one class of objects. Every single one of us thinks in patterns to a varying degree.
In programming, pattern means high-level description of a solution, where execution differs depending on circumstances.
The word ‘pattern’ is often used to describe‘background’ that we do not pay attention to while being ‘here.’
Pattern around us, pattern in our minds, pattern on ourselves.
